Dr. Chris Harper a.k.a. "Harp"

C.E.O. & Chief Storyteller at Betterman Ministries

We live in a time when no common definition or vision for manhood exists. BetterMan is that common vision. We believe generations of men want to be good men; they want to be God's man, but they do not know how. No one has shown them—no one has given them an example. BetterMan is filling that void.

Chief Storyteller

Chris Harper [aka Harp] is a speaker, writer, and disciple-maker serving as the CEO of BetterMan. Equipping more than 2500+ churches and 300,000+ men, BetterMan is calling the Church back to men. He is passionate about biblical manhood, and often speaks on topics such as a man’s identity in Christ, the trouble and trials that threaten men, and the importance of being a gospel-centered husband and father. Harp and his wife, Ally, live with their four children – Scarlett, Malachi, Calvin, and Oliver – in Arlington, Texas. Harp is a disciple of JC Ryle, who loves books, basketball, and music. King Jesus is his Savior, Andrew (Simon Peter’s brother) is his hero, he firmly believes that Jordan is better than Lebron, and nothing beats Nashville hot chicken.

As shocking and incredible as it is inspiring and real, Jesse’s story is one of unbelievable survival and salvation that leads to faith.

At the center of it all, Jesse has always been a singer and a songwriter chasing the truth through music. These days, that truth is clearer than

a musical journey spanning across countries, from festivals to arenas, Jesse has shared stages opening tours for his musical heroes from Garth Brooks to Sir Elton John, bending and blending genres along the way.
